Julie Gray

Julie Gray holds a bachelors degree from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in Violin Performance from Ithaca College. While at Ithaca, she completed her long-term training in Suzuki Pedagogy with Sandy Reuning. Prior to moving to Rochester, she played eight seasons with the Syracuse Symphony and taught at LeMoyne College. She has taught for Ithaca Talent Education and at the Hochstein School of Music and Dance. She currently is the String Coordinator at St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy in Geneva, on the faculty of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and plays regularly with the RPO. She lives in Brighton with her husband, Jeff, and their three children.
