Megan Kemp

Megan Kemp received her Master’s Degree at the Eastman School of Music and her Bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University, both degrees in Music Education-String emphasis. Her teachers have been Virginia Wensel, Katie McLin, Barbara Strugis-Everett, Lynn Chang, Nicholas Mann and Charles Castleman.

Megan is a nationally certified in Suzuki Violin teaching. She likes to tailor her instruction to each individual student, as everyone learns differently. Megan uses a combination of both traditional and Suzuki teaching and is always exploring different ways to make lessons fun and enjoyable. She is an alumni of the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the Hochstein Scholarship Chamber Music Program. Megan has performed in the back up orchestras for Johnny Mathis and Josh Groban, where she played both violin and cello!

Megan teaches Violin and Violas lessons as well as coaches Chamber music. She taught general music, choir and orchestra in Scottsdale, AZ for 4 years and most recently was in Spartanburg, SC where she taught orchestra for students in 5th-12th grade.

Megan currently lives in Greece, where she lives with her Husband Jason and her adorable dog Mozart!
